Steve Salzinger is broadly recognized as an influential strategic consultant through his firm, Salzinger LLC. Steve started the firm to help companies pursue opportunities offered by emerging multi-channel internet technologies. A key advisor to leading media and technology companies on strategic issues, Steve founded the firm with the mission of helping companies leverage their assets in the new media marketplace to maximize shareholder value.

An experienced entrepreneur, Steve has founded several new venture. In 2001, Steve co-founded Cauldron Solutions and was CEO until its merger into Anystream/Grab Networks in February 2007. Based in Virginia, today Anystream/Grab is a leading developer of video management software for multi-platform distribution across the internet, television and mobile media. Anystream/Grab’s global customers included BT, NBC Universal, QVC, and 700 other leading media companies.

Prior to co-founding Cauldron, he was president and CEO of Salzinger & Company, a pioneering strategy consulting firm that focused on helping large corporations develop strategies to transform their companies and customer experiences using technology and internet enabled consumer marketing. Among his clients were America Online, Publisher’s Clearing House, Hearst, Bertelsmann, Disney and the Cisneros Group of Companies. At Salzinger & Company, he led the company’s thought leadership on building new, profitable businesses for next generation technologies. Successes included the development of business plans and strategies for many large internet businesses, which continue to thrive to this day. Salzinger & Company was sold to AppNet/CommerceOne in 1999.

Steve holds an MBA from Harvard University, where following graduation he worked as a Research Associate at Harvard Business School for the first graduate-level e-commerce course in the United States. He worked for Professors Jeffrey Rayport and John Sviokla, to develop material for "Managing Marketspace Businesses," as a second-year MBA elective focused on technology-based services. Steve authored, co-authored or supported the research for seven cases published by Harvard Business School Publishing and used in classrooms across the globe.

Steve has also co-authored several patents, including the End to End Digital Media Entitlement System and System and Method of Creating and Managing Digital Content Offers.
