Mr. Shah brings over 18 years of hi-tech industry experience for technology strategy, development and management. His background includes expertise in computer networking and infrastructure, distributed and cloud computing, digital video and multimedia systems, secure e-commerce, online transaction processing, messaging and web services, operating systems, and real time embedded systems.

Bhavan was CTO at Cauldron Solutions and Anystream/Grab Networks. At Anystream/Grab Networks Bhavan was responsible for technology strategy and roadmap, architecture, product development, intellectual property development, team leadership and management, and outsourcing. At Cauldron Solutions and Anystream Bhavan led architecture and development of Entitlement Platform, Business Workflow Management, and Video transcoding and automated workflow for on-demand provision and production of data, video, and voice services. Bhavan worked with engineering and operations teams at top cable MSOs guiding them through integration, testing, and field trials.

Bhavan has worked on open standard technologies/protocols working with standards committees such as CableLabs, SCTE, SMPTE, ATSC, and MPEG-2. He worked with technology partners in the computer networking industry to create standard based end to end architecture for the cable and telecom industry providing broadband and video services.

Prior to Anystream/Cauldron Solutions, Bhavan was CTO at Wavexpress where he created technologies for end-to-end secure video publishing, distribution, and consumption. At Toshiba America Consumer Products, Bhavan worked as Chief Software Architect, leading work on interactive digital video solutions, home networking, and data broadcasting. He worked at Intel Corporation on real time embedded systems, hi-speed real-time data transport, and TCP/IP and OSI network stack. He also worked on GPS and satellite remote sensing at Indian Space Research Organization.

Bhavan holds M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Arizona.
